What a week. Monday night we went to Lavern MN (about 30 miles east of Sioux Falls) to get Jamie’s truck to take to the mechanics. Then went home. Tuesday night we went to the mechanics and picked the truck up and took it back to Lavern. Then went to pick up my car from Canton (about 20 miles south of Sioux Falls) to take to the mechanics in Sioux falls then went home. Wednesday we took back the car but the loan from the bank had not posted to my acct yet so we had to leave the car there. Thursday we went back to Canton and got my car. Friday I went to Coleman about (30 miles north of Sioux Falls) to get the orchids for the sale on Saturday & Sunday. Brought them to Sioux Falls then went to Leaven so Jamie could get his truck. Now our driveway looks like a used car lot. With two white cars and two trucks.
Just to let you know DO NOT try to buy two different vehicles at the same time from different places. It is A LOT of hassle.
We had the orchid and African violet sale on Saturday I left at 8:30 am and didn’t get home till around 6pm. I was back there at 12:30 and just got home around 8:00 tonight. I am so glad that that is over. We did very well and a lot of orchids got sold. The nice thing is that the members of the club get to buy them at a discount at the end of the sale.
I am so glad that I don’t have to go anywhere this week. Till Friday then I will be going to Wisconsin for my grandmothers 85th birthday.
I know that we have baby’s I can hear them I have not seen them yet but boy can they make some noise!! I thank that there are at least 2 of them. YEA!!!
Yesterday Jamie & I went car shopping. I had my eye on a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier that was in Canton. Jamie & I took if for a test drive. It is a little small for Jamie but as he put it the car will be my car not his. I really like it a lot the only problem that I have with it is that it is white. But I can live with that. I am only planning on having this car for about 3-4 years then I will have most if not all of my bills paid off and I will be getting a newer car. It was a salvage car that was restored. I am going to set up a time with my mechanic to take a look at it then as long as there is not any major problems I will be getting it. I have already talked to the bank about how much I can get. I have to look around tomorrow for insurance and see how much that will be. I am glad that I don’t have to go car shopping that often. This is a lot of work. Jamie had also been looking at a truck to use when we are going to camping events and having to tow a trailer. Monday after work we will be going and picking that truck up to take to the mechanics to have it looked over. By the end of the week we will both have new to us vehicles.
The rest of the week has been good. On Wednesday Amy, Ruth & I got together at Scooters at coffee bar. We talked and worked on projects. I got my birthday presents from Amy & John. On Thursday the weather was really bad. I was hoping for no work on Friday that didn’t happen. But Jamie and I went out to eat and grocery shopping. There was NO ONE in the stores that was really nice. But it was slow going home.
Just to let everyone know how Lakota is doing. She has been loosing a lot of weight and muscle mass. The leg that has the cancer in it has no muscle at all. You can feel the bones. She is not putting any weight on it at all and has really been dragging it. She is getting out of breath very easily just going up and down the stairs will wind her. She has also started to wheeze a lot. Jamie and I think that it has spread to her lungs. But it could be also that she just is not getting exercised like she use to. We are going to pick out a place here on our land to bury her tomarrow. This is not a lot of fun for us.
Your fairy is called Columbine Elffilter She is a cheerful sprite. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen on midsummer's eve. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has delicate green wings like a cicada.

Those that know me know that I LOVE columbine. It is right up there with violets, and lilacs as my favorite flower.
